This is a full time, benefited position. You will assist the President, Vice President and Engineers with project specific and overhead tasks on a daily basis. You must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and have some experience in aviation. You must be willing and able to aid in the planning and conduct of complex flight tests six to eight times per year. Pilots welcome – minimum requirement is familiarity with light aircraft operations and flight planning with ForeFlight. You will be in charge of post-flight data reduction and data maintenance. Must have an attention to detail and possess excellent mathematical, spreadsheet and organizational skills. Position includes occasional travel, including the US, Netherlands, UK, and Czech Republic. Interested applicants must have a valid US passport. Applicants will be subject to a background check. Employee will coordinate or develop presentation materials for events, and represent Pathfinder Systems in a professional manner publicly. Additional tasks include Quality Management, including drafting, updating and maintaining our standard operating procedures, ensuring quality in our processes and services and helping to reduce company risk. Data Handling: Assembling, interpolating and understanding collected data during flight tests. Providing large data sets to engineers for Software and Artificial Intelligence development. Ensuring correct assembly of data sets using meticulous processes, utilizing MS Excel and Adobe Premiere.
Flight Tests: Preparing hardware for flight missions relevant to company contracts. Coordinating with multiple pilots and assembling a professional plan of execution for a flight mission. Acting as an observer during flight missions, ensuring the missions are executed safely and sufficiently.
Quality Assurance: Providing quality in all services and products that the company produces for customers. Documenting our Engineering processes and assembling materials for quality audits. You will be the Quality Assurance Representative during company audits.
Event Planning and Support: Coordinating presentation materials for events, representing Pathfinder Systems in a professional manner at events such as trade shows and career fairs.
Facility and Asset Maintenance: Making sure the office and work areas are organized and presentable, maintaining offsite storage and keeping inventory records up to date.
General Overhead Tasks: Performing miscellaneous tasks as they arise. We require at least novice-level experience with Python. You should be an Intermediate user of the Microsoft Office Suite.
